Character Profile – Macbeth

 

At the beginning of the story, Macbeth is an admire, noble man, who is respected by everyone in the whole of Scotland. He has been given the title ‘Thane of Cawdor’ after he has defeated the invading Norwegians. He is

 a loyal friend to Banquo and a courageous soldier.

 

After Macbeth kills Duncan, he is no longer a hero but a evil murderer, who is capable of acting in ambitious ways, controlled by his devilish greedy wife. He is troubled by his actions an sees a floating dagger covered with blood. The guilt of his murder is making him mad and un stable and his behaviour is unpredictable.
