Volcano

Calmly, the volcano sleeps,

As dormant as a sleeping dog.

Resting for decades,

Calmly, calmly.

 

Lively, the volcano’s belly rumbles,

Roaring like a lion.

Lively, lively.

 

Suddenly, the volcano vomits boiling lava,

Spearing like a mad man.

Spitting sparks,

Suddenly, suddenly.

 

Once again, the volcano sleeps,

As dormant as a sleeping dog.

Resting constantly,

Calmly, calmly.
