Duncan’s Devastating Death

Last night, Duncan, king of Scotland, was savagely stabbed to death in his bed chamber at Glamis castle. The motivation for his death is unknown.

In the morning, Macbeth, thane of Cawdor, found king Duncan drenched with blood in his bed chamber. Macbeth also came across two guards smeared with blood, grasping daggers covered with blood. They were killed with Macbeth strait away. Macbeth, thane of Cowder, told us, “I couldn’t control my temper ,when I saw the king dead, the only conclusion I could think of was to execute the guards as it is obvious that they killed the king!”

Furthermore, Duncan’s two sons are missing as they have fled Scotland! Lady Macbeth speculated that if Malcom and Donaldbain have fled Scotland so quickly after their father’s death, there is a high possibility that they were part of their father’s violent death!

Anxiously, the whole country awaits for the announcement regarding who will now take the throne of Scotland…

  1. This is an excellent piece of writing.

You have used good complex sentences and you had a very nice simple opening, including the 5ws.

I wish you had varied your sentence structure.
